Enclosures Series – S models: SC, SI, SL, ST, SX, SCX, SIX, SLX, STX, SXX, SZ and SZX are flameproof enclosures and comply with Directive 2014/34/EU, EN 60079-0:2012/A11:2013 have the type of protection “d” according to EN 60079-1:2014 and “t” according to EN 60079-31:2014, intended for the installation of electrical equipment in places with a risk of explosive atmosphere. Shells can have different configuration options. Enclosures provide reliable protection against external influences. The presented sheaths are the best solution for disconnecting and laying cables. On the outer surface of the shell, cable entries, plugs, drainage devices, etc. P.
Explosion-proof enclosures differ in case design, overall dimensions, case material and the number of holes for cable laying and its subsequent disconnection.
Equipment mounted on the basis of the presented explosion-proof enclosures allows it to be classified as electrical equipment of groups I, II and III, belongs to the category M 2 (mining version), 2G (gas environments), 3D (field environments). Equipment can be placed in zones 2, 3, 21 and 22. The environment may contain explosive mixtures of gases and vapors with air of category IIA, IIB and IIC, as well as IIIA (combustible flying particles), IIIB (non-conductive dust) and IIIC (conductive dust).
The shells are made of the following materials: models SC, SI, SL, ST, SX and SZ – copper-free aluminum alloy, SCX, SIX, SLX, STX, SXX and SZX – stainless steel.According to the manufacturing technology, the shells are divided into cast and welded.
Finished equipment based on shells can correspond to the following temperature class: T6, T5, T4, T3.When choosing a temperature class, consider the power dissipation of the enclosure, the operating temperature and the equipment used as accessories.
When mounting electrical equipment inside the shells, the following conditions must be observed that at least 40% of the cross-sectional area of \u200b\u200bthe shell remains free, for the unhindered flow of the gas flow, so as not to limit the development of the explosion.
